I am available to speak with and help educate your organization or community group on a wide range of end-of-life topics. My presentations are designed to be informative, compassionate, and accessible for both professionals and the general public.
Topics include:
- The California End of Life Option Act (EOLOA) and general information about who may qualify for Medical Aid in Dying (MAID) in California
- Comparing all end-of-life options, including palliative care, hospice, VSED, and more
- Advance care planning, including advance directives, POLST, and documenting wishes clearly
- Effective communication with family members and medical providers around end-of-life decisions
- Understanding the role of a Death Doula and how doulas support individuals and families
- Body disposition options, including traditional burial, cremation, green burial, and alternative eco-friendly choices
